Yes, it is common on the French Riviera. With a photo of the staircase and landings, we plan the crew and equipment at the quote stage; if the staircase will not allow it, we look at going through the outside with a furniture lift.

It is recommended: a move, however careful, and the change of room can affect the tuning. Let the instrument settle for a few days before calling a tuner.
